Wow! Awesome recipe.
Rich in omega 3, sulphur compounds and antioxidants. I went heavy on the garlic because I love it, but you don’t need as much, so go with your preference.
Don’t let the bones in the fish put you off, you hardly notice them, and they’re high in calcium.
Ingredients
1 can of sardines marinated in chilli, lime, olive oil and coriander
Spaghetti
1 tbsn of garlic
Extra Virgin Olive oil
Parmesan
1 tsp of dried corriander
Sprinkle of chilli flakes
Pepper to taste
1 tsp of garlic powder
Method
Cook pasta as directed. Open sardines and poor oil from can into pan, heat on low. Add garlic, chilli flakes and corriander. Chop sardines and add to pan. Add pasta water to help sauce.
Crush bread stick into bowl and mix with parmesan and garlic powder.
Drain pasta once cooked and add sauce, stir through, I like to use tongs to really get it into the pasta without damaging it. Add a slurp of Extra Virgin Olive oil.
Serve and top with bread crumb mixture. Add pepper to taste.ππ
